How to Use Coconut Oil for Acne?

It isn’t hard to use coconut oil for acne treatment. It’s advisable to do this procedure twice daily for optimal results.

When you buy a jar of coconut oil in a grocery store, choose a pure, unrefined virgin coconut oil. It’s much better if it’s a ‘cold-press’ type as it contains more nutrients than the other processed coconut oils.

It’s better to use coconut oil in the liquid form when treating Acne. Normally, you’ll get a solidified coconut oil in a jar. To liquefy this, put the jar a room temperature. Warming the container is a quicker way of liquefying it. But as much as possible, we don’t want to lose any small nutrients in the coconut oil.

You’ve got to wash your face well with warm water. This enables the pores to open for thorough washing and better penetration of the coconut oil into the skin. Dry your skin by gently patting it using a clean towel.

Put ample coconut oil on your palm and gently rub it on your face.
